The past is not a shackle we wear, but the hammer we use to forge ourselves.

Walks of Life is a re-envisioned character creation guideline which expands on a character’s backstory using simple choices. This module offers:

• 18 varied Backgrounds that grant starting bonuses and drawbacks
  • Includes suggested traits that Wardens can use to generate NPCs.
• A full rework to what it means to be an "Android", which comes with:
  • 5 unique Android Backgrounds to use in conjunction with your class
  • A basic outline on how Androids differ from Humans
• Additional guidelines on using Backgrounds during play
• A fillable and printable character sheet that integrates the core rules with this module
  

Getting a background for your character is as simple as:

1. Make a character per the Player Survival Guide (pg 4-5). Note: Android is no longer a valid class that can be picked with this module. 
2. Pick a Background (or roll 1d20), gaining its bonuses and drawbacks. 
3. Ready to play! 

This module is best used for:

• Characters partaking in long-term campaigns
• Providing additional starting boosts for characters
• Providing ideas to flesh out character backstories
• Establishing lore concerning Android functions and rules
• Providing additional problem-solving/role-playing tools
• Generating quick and interesting NPCs.
