Carving Ymir

They say Votan carved the world from Ymir's bones and set his skull as the vault of the sky.

Nitrogen. Phosphorus. Carbon. All the building blocks of life are locked below Ymir's icy surface. You were thawed out of your colony ship millennia early and stuffed into a drillship. They told you to drive it eleven days into Ymir's heart, set the bomb to explode, and take the escape pod back out. Robots will handle the rest, building you and the rest of your colony a paradise.

Easy money, right?

The drill chatters your teeth. Conditions are cramped and hot. Your coworker's politics are insane. As your drillship works towards the core, things get stranger. Why are the rocks bleeding? Why is the blood yours? Whose teeth are these?

Are you drilling into a planet? Or into the mind of God?

Carving Ymir is a pamphlet adventure for Mothership Sci-fi Horror RPG. It's intended for roughly four players and should take one session to complete.
